DOMENIC’S MUSIC ACADEMY   Domenic’s Music Academy has been providing musical education in Ottawa and the surrounding area for the past 40 years. Our Kanata location has been thriving for the better part of 16 years. Now with 20 teachers we have reached the momentous goal of teaching 450 students weekly. Our academy offers instruction in the following areas:

Domenic’s provides a serious atmosphere for learning, yet maintains a fun element during lessons to ensure that you will thoroughly enjoy learning music.
     
We encourage our students to get together with other members of Domenic’s to form duets, duos, ensembles and bands. We are actively pursuing this area of musical education so that our students can enjoy music to its fullest potential.
     
Workshops on the latest methods of learning to play, sight reading, and rhythmic articulation are available during the year. Students have an opportunity to expand their musical and artistic knowledge, using a modern easy-to-understand method.
     
Domenic’s holds an annual student festival. While it is not compulsory for all students to participate, it nevertheless provides a wonderful experience for those interested in performing in front of an audience.

At Domenic’s you can come to learn the type of music you have a preference for: jazz, classical, hard rock, heavy metal, rock and roll, folk etc.
     
 ♪ We teach anyone, from complete beginner to very advanced, making all our students’ learning experience very enjoyable.
     
♪ Our students have a firm understanding of all the basic principles of theory, harmony, and its practical applications.
     
♪ We prepare students for Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) and Kiwanis exams.
     
♪ Level of interest is always maintained because our teachers work with the material you choose.
     
♪ We specialize in music and vocal training for performing musicians.
